woot... been nearly 1 wk since i last blog. well a rough peek into my 1st week in perth.
Mon: touch down, clear custom, went to mum & cousin's hotel 1st. after tt we took a cab to my hostel, Vickery house. We went to the office for registration than we were showed to my unit by Brad, who is a Senior resident there. Small house n i'm in room 8. kinda sian cos start to miss SG liao.. its cold,windy n it keeps raining over here. Once i unpacked my stuffs we went to my sis's homestay place. Chatted with the homestay owner called Jan for awhile. She drove us to a nearby shopping centre after tt to hav lunch n @ the same time get my blanket. nothing much for the rest of the day...
TUES:felt even more sian.. no internet, no tv, no newspapers... i'm so disconnected from wat's happening ard the world. my mum n cousin came over to my place to bring my sis n i to the city. took bus 72 there. my cousin showed us ard the city n told us wat there were so tt when we were bored we can go there hav a look. went to a vietnamese shop for lunch b4 going on to buy utensils n snacks for myself. head back to vickery house after tt.. shops here close so early!!! 5pm.. so boring, nothing to do after tt... nite chatted with my housemates n ask to join in their internet access too. Bed time after tt...
WED:1st day of orientation.. finally, some activity to do...met new students, teachers toured the sch..
there are another 6 SG students in the course as well. 2 r guys n 1 of them is Zhi Qiang, who happened to be in the same BMT coy as me n also kai siang's plt mate. how small can the world be lol... after orientation went to curtin uni set up a bank acct. nothing much for the rest of the day.. chatted wif sis over the phone at nite... 3rd day w/o internet connection... OMG someone save me pls!!!
THURS:2nd day orientation we had a toured in curtin uni n uni of western australia (UWA)... UWA is so freaking nice la.. next to swan river somemore... wa muz work hard get in there... after tour went back home... oh btw from mon-wed had cup noodle for dinner n on thurs even best, bread n tuna.. LOL... totally dunno wat & how to cook... nite finally had my internet connection! tt feeling is so shiok.. finally can get back online.
FRI:Last day of orientation.. met our 'seniors' from the 1st sem.. told us life in sch n study well n we shld hav no prob getting into UWA. Went to the library to collect our student ID after lunch n went home... evening time Daniel, my cousin's church fren son who was studyin in UWA, pick me up n drove all of us to a Italian restaurant for dinner. we had pizzas n pastas for dinner.... the servings were so big we couldnt finish.. had to ta-bao the remaining pizzas home wif me... tt was like my 1st proper dinner this wk... went home log on msn chatted wif frens... finally got the chance to tok to them.. had a chat wif liping too... feel damn gd to chat wif her... its gd she brings happiness to ppl rite?????
SAT:met my sis n 2 of her new frens... went to city walk walk see see... went home at abt 3+... met kelvin later in the evening n he showed me ard the sch area... we had KFC for dinner... somehow i feel the kfc here taste even much better than ours back in SG... after tt he brought me to the other 2 hostels n met somemore of his frens.. gd to know more SGporeans ard... their homes so much nice la.... i felt tt i've been ripped off paying A$101/wk when another $3 more i can get a even better n bigger home.. haiz... muz move out after this sem!!! after tt went back home...
SUN(today):woke up went for guild raiding.. was a gd run for both the guild n me.. we downed onyxia for the 1st time n Sulfuron.. for myself i won 3 cenarion set lol.... after tt went over to zhi qiang's place for pizza n borrowed 2 dvds from him... now blogging lor... hopefully i can blog at least once a wk so tt u guys can know how im doing over here... im totally new to this thing so lots of thing still kinda alien to me... oh sch starts tml... hopefully everything well goes well this wk.. to all my frens: Hav a happy week ahead!!!!!!!!

Hmm dunno y i set up a blog too. Maybe is becos of the gd suggestion elaine gave me, to create 1 so tt frens back in SG will know how i'm doing in Perth. See all the different settings confuse me lol... im a totally a noob in these things...
Erm going off in another few hrs time. Haiz so sian... dun feel like leaving. Who ask me play a fool during jc time now muz suffer becos of tt..Hope i can do well over there. Will update again when i'm settled down over there. Cya ppl...
